The Dutch businessman, known for his transparency and positive changes during his short tenure, cited differences in vision with GLORY’s CEO, Scott Rudmann, as the primary reason for his departure.

Hols, who previously held executive positions at media conglomerates like Viacom and Paramount, joined GLORY four months ago and quickly earned praise from kickboxing fans for his management approach. “[Scott Rudmann] and I have a different vision of the future of the organization and how it should be managed,” Hols explained in his statement, expressing uncertainty about whether GLORY’s upcoming tournaments and plans would continue as promised under the new leadership.

The timing of Hols’ resignation coincides with scheduling conflicts surrounding the upcoming Heavyweight Grand Prix, which was initially scheduled for March 9. However, Hols was adamant that his decision was unrelated to the drama surrounding the absence of Jamal Ben Saddik from the tournament. Instead, he cited a divergence in the vision for the organization’s future between himself and CEO Scott Rudmann.
