Kickboxing Fans Brace for Epic Showdown at Lumpinee Stadium

April 4, 2023 – Kickboxing enthusiasts are in for a treat as the upcoming Lumpinee Stadium event on April 5 promises to deliver an electrifying lineup of world-class matchups. The highlight of the evening will be a superfight between reigning ONE Kickboxing World Champion, Jonathan Di Bella, and the current ONE Muay Thai title holder in the same division, Prajanchai.

Di Bella, who last competed in October 2022, will be making the second defense of his kickboxing title against the formidable Thai fighter. His journey to the championship began with a remarkable upset victory over top Chinese prospect, Zhang Peimian, in October 2022, where he captured the inaugural title.

Prajanchai, on the other hand, is returning to the ring after reclaiming his Muay Thai title and settling scores with Joseph Lasiri, Di Bella’s fellow countryman, last December. The Thai fighter has also showcased his versatility in the kickboxing discipline, securing a decisive victory over Akram Hamidi in September.

The Lumpinee Stadium event will also feature a highly anticipated third showdown between Superbon and Marat Grigorian for the interim world title in the featherweight division. Additionally, former ONE world champion, Nong O, will be looking to bounce back from two consecutive knockout defeats, as he faces the hard-hitting Kulabdam, who is riding a three-fight knockout streak.
