K-1 WORLD MAX 2024: Fight Card, Final 16 Tournament, and World Title Fights
K-1 WORLD MAX Delivers Blockbuster Fight Card – 50 Competitors to Clash in Potentially Longest Event Yet
K-1, the renowned kickboxing promotion, is gearing up for a massive event as it brings back the K-1 WORLD MAX. The first round of the K-1 World Max 2024 Final 16 will take center stage, with a stacked lineup of 50 fighters set to compete in what could be the longest K-1 event yet.
In addition to the highly anticipated Final 16 tournament, the event will also feature two world title fights. The action-packed card will see K-1 and RISE fighters continue their ongoing feud from last weekend’s RISE ELDORADO 2024 event.
Unfortunately, late replacement Romano Bakboord was the sole fighter to miss the weight limit, tipping the scales at 70.95 kilograms, 950 grams over the required weight. As a result, Bakboord will be fined 20% of his purse and will start the fight with a 1-point deduction. He will also be required to wear 10-ounce gloves instead of the standard 8-ounce gloves.
The action begins with the prelims tomorrow at 12:00 AM ET, featuring the K-1 vs. RISE fights that will be live and FREE on Triller TV. This will be followed by the highly anticipated PPV, which includes the two world title fights and the seven K-1 MAX Final 16 bouts.
