GLORY Heavyweight Grand Prix Draw Announced
The Harbour Club in Amsterdam, Netherlands played host to the draw for the GLORY Heavyweight Grand Prix earlier today. Lower-seeded fighters were given the opportunity to choose their bracket placements, while the top-seeded competitors then selected their respective opponents.
GLORY Heavyweight champion and tournament favorite Rico Verhoeven will face Sofian Laidouni, who remains undefeated under the GLORY banner. Nordine Mahieddine, a late replacement for Antonio Plazibat, will square off against the popular Nabil Khachab. One-time title challenger Tariq Osaro will test his skills against knockout artist Bahram Rajabzadeh, while promotional favorite Levi Rigters is set to meet power-punching Uku Jürjendal.
“The Heavyweight Grand Prix Reserve fight will be contested by Benjamin Adegbuyi and Cihad Kepenek, both hoping to earn the $500,000 prize that awaits the tournament winner.”
Additionally, two championship bouts have been scheduled for the event: a Lightweight title clash between champion Tyjani Beztati and challenger Enriko Kehl, as well as a Light Heavyweight championship bout between titleholder Donegi Abena and interim champion Tarik Khbabez.
