GLORY and RISE Featherweight Grand Prix: Tokyo Showdown Unveiled

In a thrilling development for the world of kickboxing, GLORY and RISE have joined forces to launch a highly anticipated Featherweight, 65 KG, Grand Prix. This crossover tournament is set to take place in Tokyo, Japan, on the captivating date of December 21st.
The Featherweight division has been a true spectacle over the past year, and the Grand Prix promises to showcase the very best of this talent-rich category. While the official fighter lineup is yet to be announced, fans can expect a star-studded roster featuring the division’s top contenders.
The qualification process for this tournament will commence with a series of events hosted by RISE in Japan. The first qualifier will take place in Osaka on June 15th, followed by a second qualifier in Yokohama on September 8th. The grand finale will then be held in Tokyo on December 21st. GLORY’s qualification proceedings remain under wraps, but fighters from both promotions are expected to participate.
Among the anticipated participants, the current GLORY Featherweight champion and former RISE champion, Petchpanomrung, is expected to make an appearance. Kento Haraguchi, the former RISE champion, is also likely to join the fray. Current RISE champion Chadd Collins, hailing from Australia, and Miguel Trindade, who recently secured a knockout victory over Collins, are also predicted to be part of the tournament.
Additionally, the Grand Prix could potentially feature the likes of Abraham Vidales, Ahmad Chikh Mousa, and Berjan Peposhi, showcasing the depth and talent of the Featherweight division.
