Kickboxing Powerhouse EM Legend Returns with Star-Studded 70 KG Tournament

Following the footsteps of fellow Chinese promotion Kunlun Fight, EM Legend is poised for a highly anticipated resurgence. The promotion has announced a 70 KG tournament scheduled to take place on June 15 at the Chongqing Sports Center, featuring an impressive lineup of top international and domestic talent.

Headlining the tournament is Yodwicha, the interim Rajadamnern Stadium champion, who will be joined by Chinese contender Luo Chao, veteran Dzianis Zuev, and Australian fighter Matthew Stevens. Yodwicha is no stranger to EM Legend, having previously participated in the promotion’s first event after the COVID-19 pandemic and secured the Continental Gold title in a lower-profile 70 KG tournament.

Luo Chao, one of the rising stars in Chinese kickboxing, is coming off a dominant knockout win over Roeung Sophorn in the Kun Khmer vs Wu Lin Feng card. The young Chinese fighter is known for his impressive victory over top fighter and K-1 champion Ouyang Feng.

Veteran Dzianis Zuev makes a highly anticipated return to the ring after his last fight in 2022, where he defeated Jérémy Payet by knockout in the third round. Zuev has faced some of the best 70 KG competitors throughout his career, and his inclusion in this tournament underscores EM Legend’s commitment to showcasing experienced talent.

Rounding out the lineup is Matthew Stevens, an Australian fighter with international experience, including bouts against former GLORY Featherweight champion Serhii Adamchuk and Dutch Welterweight Jos van Belzen.

The event will also feature fights between Chinese and international talents, with former Enfusion Middleweight champion Mohammad Ghaedibardeh set to make his return to the Chinese promotion after a previous loss to Yang Guang.

This 70 KG tournament promises to be a thrilling display of kickboxing excellence, as EM Legend continues to cement its position as a premier destination for top-level talent in the sport.
